Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman was an American female gymnast, and captain for her team in the US female Olympic gymnastics Team 2012 Fierce Five and in 2016. The Final Five. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold both on the team floor and the individual competitions. The bronze was won with using the balance bar. It made her the Olympic gymnast with the highest number of medals. The gold medal she won at the Olympics in 2016 was the second gold in a row for the American team. It made her along with fellow teammate Gabby - the first Americans to be able to complete this achievement. Additionally, she won silver medals for the individual all-around event as well as for the floor workout. The break was for three years between each Olympics from gymnastics competition. Additionally, she was part of gold-winning American teams in two World Championships. Her favorite event is the flooring exercise. She started learning gymnastics at the age of two years older. Aly gives her time and money to Uniting Against Lung Cancer charity to honor her late grandmother. She plans to pursue the field of fashion, and would like to expand her signature line of leotards and socks later on. Fierce will be published at the end of summer.
